1911 Day Dress for Spring
Lily’s outfit was inspired by an illustration from the October 1911 edition of Ladies Home Journal.
Day Dress: Green and yellow flower print dress with white lace and green silk ribbon trim. Pale green satin belt. Ivory lace shawl and yellow faux flower bouquet.
Hat: White pique cotton wide-brimmed hat trimmed with faux yellow flowers and green ribbon.
Undergarments: Fully boned longline underbust corset with fastening at the front and lacing at the back. Combination with white lace trim. Ivory gored petticoat with dust ruffle and pintuck-trimmed flounce.
